Does anyone actually need a VPN in 2025 or is it just paranoia?

Definitely need one! A VPN service protects you from real threats. Your ISP tracks and sells your browsing data (legal in most countries). Public WiFi hackers can steal passwords and credit cards. Websites price discriminate based on location. I use ExpressVPN daily - saved me when my bank account got flagged abroad, lets me work securely from coffee shops, and I get cheaper flights by changing location. Cost is $6.67/month.
